Gas Analyser – consists of various gas lines for
carrier, calibration and the pneumatic
lines, various combination of valves, Rotameters,
Mass Flow Controllers and the high flow, high volume Thermal
Conductivity Detector for H2/O2/N2/Xe/Kr detection.
- High Temperature Electrode Furnace for fusion of the
sample using a Graphite crucible. The sample is fused here
and the liberated gases taken away for analysis to the TC
Detector..
- Electronic Control Circuitry consisting of
PLC’s with I/O modules and TCD, Micro controllers,
High gain amplifiers, drift compensators, Relay modules and
Timer Sequence programmer with RS 232 interface. The
Analysers electronic unit controls all the operations from
the front panel using the OP panel with large LCD
display and membrane keypad for the determinator control.
- Windows Based User friendly Integrating &
Control Software
The system
also incorporates the powerful PC which is connected to the
Analyser via serial port for computation of the results.
The results are displayed on the video screen as well
as printed on the printer. The specialized PC software
includes many features which are customized to give a proper
format of report as desired by the user. The complete
control of the determinator is available via the PC optionally.

SAMPLE COMBUSTION SYSTEM (HIGH
TEMPERATURE ELECTRODE FURNACE)
|
|
Sample materials are fused in graphite
crucible using the powerful 7.5 KW Electrode Furnace
(EF-2002-MT) for Hydrogen which achieves temperatures upto 2800°
C and 15 KW Electrode Furnace for O2/N2/Xe/Kr
(EF-2002-HT)
which can achieve temperatures upto 3400° C. The Analysis
take places using a combination of various techniques
including Thermodynamics, High Temperature chemical
kinematics & Chromatography techniques using a very high
sensitivity Micro Thermal Conductivity Detector with special
Nickel filaments. It determines the total gas content by
fusion extraction using the EF-2002-MT or EF-2002-HT Electrode
Furnace. The furnaces are capable to attain temperature
approximately upto 2800° C by passing a current from 500A to
800A depending on the sample for the determination of H2 and
700A to 950A for samples for detemination of O2/N2/Xe/Kr.
The plot of Temp. vs. electrode current is shown in the tabulation of the
results also shown below.
